This privacy notice applies to this website boardelections.nz operated by Digital Journey (“we”).
We collect personal information from you, including information about your contact information and candidate profile.
We collect this information in order to complete the School Trustee application process. This process has been defined by the Canterbury Education Services (CES: www.cessl.org) and follows the approved process from New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA: www.nzsta.org.nz )
CES as the nominated Returning Officer will have access to this information and be able to edit information provided by candidates. Candidate profiles will be shared with the school community as outlined in the nomination process. Information will also be shared with NZSTA.
We will only use personal information that you provide to us through this site for the purposes for which you supplied it for. Providing some information is optional. We will only submit the information you provide. Note that certain information is required to complete the nomination process.
We keep your information safe by using high levels of IT Security and limiting access to approved individuals.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact CES as the Returning Officer.
